Meet Geneva Forbes. Playful, witty, enticing.

Only, this particular Forbes-like the whole lot of them-was not too found on doing what she was told and she became with child out of wedlock. In hopes of sweeping the faux pas under the rug, the founding family kept a close eye on Geneva and whisked her newborn away. Upon further arrangements; she was soon set to marry a man by the name of Henry Lockwood.

In 1864, Klaus Mikaelson became enamored with this young woman who went by the name of Geneva. She was yet another doppelgänger and Klaus’ thirst for vengeance against Katherine dimmed slightly at the prospect of a new toy. She had become swept up in the tall, dark, deadly being that was Klaus. He had her soul on fire. However, the timing was most unfortunate. For, she had promised herself to Henry Lockwood who was sweet, charming and entirely safe. Regardless, neither of these men seemed capable of keeping a hold on her. Klaus and Geneva had quite the affair until she cut off all ties with him and put an abrupt end to their ‘relationship’. Then, she was forced to move to the newfound town known as Mystic Falls where Henry resided. Klaus was never one to sulk and would have fought for her had he not caught wind that his dear Katerina Petrova was practically a town over. He swore he would return for her.

Only a hundred miles away or so, Stefan and Damon Salvatore were falling head over heels for a vampire known as Katherine Pierce. She wedged herself between them playing the coy, alluring orphan and set in motion a train of events that would affect many. Damon Salvatore had returned from the war and instantly caught the eye of Miss. Pierce with his striking azure irises and boyish smirk. Yet, Stefan had been her personal guide in Damon’s absence and she was enjoying his polite, eager-to-please demeanor. Neither of the Salvatore siblings appeared too perturbed by their true love’s secret identity and shared her bedchamber willingly. But, neither seemed able to capture her utmost attention and continued to fight for it. Their desire was their ultimate downfall. Katherine tore apart a family and she took it one step further when she scorned Klaus.

The very night that Katherine made her escape from Mystic Falls, she not only guided Damon and Stefan into transition, but intentionally slaughtered Geneva Forbes the evening before her wedding day. Katherine drained her and left her there to die. Little did she know, Geneva possessed a smidgen of vampire blood left in her system from her rendezvouses with Klaus. With that one dreaded action, Katherine’s fate was sealed furthermore. Klaus went to the ends of the earth and back, determined to make Katherine suffer for destroying the one, pure thing in his life and ruining yet another opportunity to seize a doppelgänger. For, Klaus thought Geneva had died.

Now, it’s present day and everyone’s back in Mystic Falls including Miss. Geneva Forbes. And, just where exactly has Geneva been all this time?

How is Katherine reacting when she learns that her two favorite Salvatores have Elena, an exact copy of her, on a pedestal? And, what will happen when she realizes the big, bad Klaus is coming to visit?

How will Klaus react when he sees Caroline Forbes, the spitting image of his long lost love, for the first time? What will happen when he reunites with Geneva for the first time in five-hundred years? Or, will the prospect of revenge on Katherine and the possibility of a new Petrova doppelgänger reign above all?

Is history doomed to repeat itself? Only time will tell…
